Buttermilk Ranch Seasoning Mix

Ranch seasoning

Super simple and oh-so-satisfying, this buttermilk ranch seasoning mix can be used to make dip, dressing or to season meat and vegetables! This is a dry mix made using buttermilk powder which you can find online or occasionally in baking sections of your grocery store. You can easily customize the rest of the herbs and spices to suit your taste. Love the punch of garlic? Add an extra teaspoon of garlic!  Love a little smoky flavor? Try substituting a smoked salt or even a fancy truffle salt for a unique mix that is truly all your own. Once all of the ingredients are tossed together, store it in an airtight container until ready to use.

I’ve used this many times to add a pop of ranch flavor to cheesy potatoes or other cold weather creamy soups, hot dishes and casseroles. Mix this seasoning with panko for an easy pork or chicken breading that’s super flavorful and family friendly. Ranch seasoning mix is also fabulous used as a popcorn sprinkle!
